Quick one today ... upcoming will be about the tearful goodbye to most of the babies.
Cat wants to know why I'm throwing food to the chickens and not to him. He's very affectionate and never threatens the chickens. Chickens tolerate cat. Hortense is off by herself again, I throw treats down just for her. Cat comes over to see what she as that he doesn't. Hortense gives him the business. Cat slinks away.
Coco is off with the flock. Coco is not nearby. Hortense did NOT show an ounce of fear and told cat off directly. She was NOT to be bothered while she was eating treats, thank you very much.
Also ... should be noted ... this is not my cat!
